I have a whiteboard in my shop. It's handy for working with others - brainstorming - and it's handy for keeping my own head and projects straight. Right now it has a lot of shop wish and shopping lists on it.
It occurred to me that if one pointed a camera, a projector, and a phone or a laptop at said whiteboard, one could capture whatever you sketched on it, and save those drawings, then re-project them again later... but editing the re-projected image wouldn't be possible. Even so, it gives you a whiteboard with a memory, and that's pretty powerful. Most of us have old phones... small LED projectors are cheap...
Naturally, someone has thought of this long before me, and various cool products exist at surprisingly low prices, to accomplish this sort of thing, and more...
I want one.
