shadowless task light prototype

I put this together literally with (high temp, high performance) hot glue.

There are two welded brackets for the tilt pivot points, but those could probably be replaced with T-shaped "mending plates" from the hardware store.  I had a hell of a time finding light-weight, inexpensive, surface-mount, small-diameter, plastic, lamp-holders.

In the end, I didn't find such, but since my bracket was in the way and they kinda had to be small diameter, I went with porcelain ones, which added some unnecessary weight and annoying expense.

The support hoop was easy to make because I have a cheap imported ring roller.

The lamps are 1000 lumen flood LED bulbs and consume about 12W each.
