When you are blasting the paint, or mill scale, or rust, or what-have-you, from some desirable substrate, visibility promptly goes to near zero if there isn't a strong light inside.
spoilers: the cheap units from China do not include a strong light. Instead, they include a sort of afterthought; a single 20 watt fluorescent tube.
So I bought this item from a guy on ebay who makes them himself out of (apparently) COTS parts. It comes with magnets which clip to the LED frame thus sticking it to the inside of the cabinet around the window.
It doesn't hurt that the LED frame thing puts out over 5,000 lumens whereas a typical 20watt T12 fluorescent lamp puts out a meager 1,100 lumens. When the grit and rust start flying, you'll want all the light you can get. My one concern about this thing is that after it ran for about an hour, the supply got awfully warm to the touch. I wonder whether it is slightly over-loaded, but with the back pain thing still going on, I don't have the ambition to go mesaure the actual current and voltage etc. It's a 40 watt supply. Oh, and as of this posting, there is only one left.
